Arcjet 99 / 400
The MEC Arc Spray Unit, Model: Arcjet 99/400 is a reliable and robust system that has the following features
- This system is designed to process all conductive wires relevant to thermal spray, solid wires, and cored wires.
- New technology of the power source is a combination of advanced control and supply circuits that deliver stable voltage to wire and allow the system to spray any conductive wire at the lowest possible voltage. This increases energy efficiency.
- High-Velocity Arc Spray (HVAS) Technique which is useful to get low porosity, high-quality coating at the most economical cost.
- Simple and low-cost operation, with lesser consumption of spare parts.
- ARCJET-99 Gun with Air-Cooled Arc Head (Patented)
- Interconnecting Hoses & Cables
- Portable Wire Feed & Gun Stand; Model : SWF-011
- Power Source with in-built Control Panel; Model : P-400

| Weight of Gun | 3.35 Kg |
| Power Requirement | 15Kw |
| Open Circuit Voltage | 18-48 V |
| Current | 400 Amps at 75% duty cycle. |
| 300 Amps for continuous operation | |
| Max. Ambient Temp. Ratings Apply | 50°C |
| Air Requirement | 70 cfm free air delivery (FAD) at 90 psi air pressure |
Optional Accessories
70° Spray Head
This head delivers the spray pattern at 70 Deg sideways instead of straight spray. This is useful for hard to reach location in complex geometries.
Extension Nozzle for inside spray
| Minimum ID | 100mm or 4 Inch |
|---|---|
| Available Length | 12 Inch, 24 Inch and 36 Inch |
| Wire Size | 1.6mm |
Shroud Nozzle
| Shroud Nozzle | This is designed to make a shroud of Inert gas around the ARC Spray Flame to avoid the contact of atmospheric oxygen. Using this the oxide content in the coating can be minimized. |
